His artist statement about his series Lingering Strands is unique and honest. His work is direct and bold. Recreating the fading beauty of an ex-lover. "With the presence of my former significant other fading almost a year later from my memory, her strands still lingers. The fragmented visuals that I can recall and her unique hair that has brought inspiration for this body of work. The lingering strands that have endured former love, heart aches, and fading memories. I had sought to piece together the fragmented feelings I once felt and desensitized the feelings of this former relationship."
